What is an FTP?

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, think of it as an online shared folder that you could transfer files that might be larger than what sending a file via email might restrict.
Some web browsers support an FTP feature however using an FTP Client (such as Filezilla) is usually more reliable.
Usually you need the FTP Address, a username and a password to access and FTP. then it is a matter of transferring your files.
